Shannon has proudly called Delaware County home since 1985, witnessing its
transformation from a tranquil farming community into the vibrant suburbia it
is today. A Buckeye Valley graduate of 1996, Shannon's journey has been deeply
intertwined with the growth of this area.
Alongside her husband Mark, who owns a successful construction company, they've embarked on
numerous real estate ventures. From purchasing bank-owned properties and
flipping homes to building from the ground up and intricate remodels, their hands-on experiences have shaped her passion for real estate
investments, property rentals, and budget-friendly design. Their early days even
saw her mastering the art of furniture refinishing.
Recently, Shannon Atkins managed the closure of three separate estates,
collaborating with the Veterans Administration, Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice,
Home Health, banks, probate courts, estate lawyers, family members, and funeral
homes. This challenging experience further honed her skills in navigating
complex processes with compassion and efficiency.
As her youngest son turned eighteen and they wrapped up the
last estate, Shannon found herself pondering, “What's next?" Given her extensive
background, real estate emerged as the perfect fit.
